History & Policy is delighted to announce the second in its series of “Policy Engagement Training for Historians and Social Scientists” events.
In the second session, delegates will learn how to use social media and news media to increase the impact of their research, gain insights in to how Parliamentarians and Policy-Makers use academic research and participate in a policy simulation.
Confirmed speakers include Bernard Muscat (Macmillan Cancer Support), Hannah Pluthero (KCL Press Office), Dr Andrew Blick (KCL, History & Policy), Chris Skidmore MP & Jessica Mulley (House of Commons).
The event will take place from 09:30 – 16:00 on Monday 25th April in the Anatomy Museum, Kings College London.
H&P is based at the Institute of Historical Research, Senate House, University of London.
We are the only project in the UK providing access to an international network of more than 500 historians with a broad range of expertise. H&P offers a range of resources for historians, policy makers and journalists.
