Breakfast meeting where business groups and policy makers can gain insights from academic historians.
Following the Brexit vote in June 2016 there has been much talk about the opportunities and challenges which the UK faces in repositioning itself in the international economy. This event brings together a panel of a business leader and two historians with expertise in the past and present of Britain’s trade with key economic partners beyond the EU to consider how the past can inform our understanding of future challenges in the run-up Brexit.
Who should attend: The breakfast panel is aimed at business groups and policymakers with an interest in the UK and international trade.
