Evidence and Consultations

HIV/AIDS

In evidence submitted to the House of Lords Select Committee on HIV/AIDS, H&P co-founder Professor Virginia Berridge analyses the initial response to HIV/AIDS in the UK from the early 1980s to the early 1990s - and the way in which policymakers learned from past failures and avoided stigmatising groups, or unsuccessful focus on abstinence.
