About the papers
History & Policy papers are written by expert historians and all are based on peer-reviewed or published historical research. The papers offer historical insights into current policy issues ranging from Iraq to ID cards and climate change to child maintenance.
There are now over 60 papers available, which can be searched by theme, author or keyword, and all are free to access. New papers are published regularly and you can be kept up to date by joining our email list. Wherever possible, we aim to publish new papers to coincide with relevant policy developments, for more information see our news page.
